Overview

Hole-in-the-Wall Campground Trailhead is in the back (far northwest) corner of Hole in the Wall Campground. There is parking for 2-3 vehicles. The area is wide open with grand view of the surrounding volcanic mountains. Toilets are available.

Hole-in-the-Wall Campground Trailhead provides access to the Barber Loop Trail and the Cactus Garden Trail.

Getting to Hole-in-the-Wall Campground Trailhead

This campground is located in Mojave National Preserve, about 2 hours south of Las Vegas. From town, drive out towards the Hole-in-the-Wall Visitor Center. About 2 minutes north of the visitor center, turn right into Hole in the Wall Campground. Drive into the campground and all the way to the top of the campground (Table 1, Site 1944), just before the walk-in campsites. Park here; this is the trailhead.
