Overview The Barber Loop Trail makes a 5.5-mile circumnavigation of Barber Peak (aka Barbour Peak), the peak west of Hole in the Wall Campground. The loop makes a nice dayhike from the campground, as the grades generally are easy, and the scenery is grand. The trail is described in a clockwise direction (HITW camp, west and then north along the west side of the peak, then returning to the campground around the north and east sides of the peak). Here, a few photos for hikers going in the counter-clockwise direction (HITW camp, north and then west along the north side of the peak, then looping around the west and south sides of the peak, climbing through Banshee Canyon, and back to camp).
