Overview Deep within Death Valley Wilderness Area, Sidewinder Canyon is a moderately strenuous hike up a steep gravel wash to several amazing narrow slot canyons that cut into the walls of the main canyon. Presented here are photos of Slot Zero. Slot 0 is the third of the side canyons encountered while hiking up the main wash. This slot is not particularly deep or narrow, but it is steep with several interesting pour-overs and provides a quick route to get above the cliffs that border the main wash.
