Day 4, December 2. We spent another quiet day relaxing in Austin. The hand is almost fine, and if I leave it alone, I feel nothing. If I poke and prod the numb area to see if it still hurts, it will when I stop messing with it. Also, I've learned to offer my left hand when shaking hands with people, as a firm handshake is surprisingly painful. I'm wondering how long this nerve sensitivity will last.
