Lady Beetle (Family Coccinellidae)

General: Lady Beetles (Hippodamia spp.), also known as Ladybugs and Ladybird Beetles, are small, roundish, red-orange beetles with a black head and black spots on the wing covers.

There are many species of lady beetles, each with a characteristic dot and facial pattern.
