Savannah Sparrow (Passerculus sandwichensis)

General Description: Savannah Sparrow (Passerculus sandwichensis) are medium sized, sexually monomorphic, streaked sparrows. They are gray and brown overall with a bold eyeline that is somewhat yellowish. The tail is notched.

Favored Habitat: Open desert with shrubs.

Where to Find: Red Rock Canyon NCA, Corn Creek on the Desert National Wildlife Range.
