General Description: Hermit Thrushes (Catharus guttatus) are small, sexually monomorphic songbirds with a spotted breast and red tail. The head and wings are gray, and they have a white eyering.

Favored Habitat: Thickets and woods in the mountains.

Where to Find: Higher elevation forests in places like Mt. Charleston and the Sheep Range.
