General Description: Juniper Titmice (Baeolophus ridgwayi) are small, sexually monomorphic songbirds. They are plain gray above, a little lighter under, and have a crest.

Favored Habitat: Pinyon-Juniper Woodlands.

Juniper Titmice (Baeolophus ridgwayi)

Where to Find: These birds live in middle-elevation Pinyon-Juniper Woodland forests. Around Las Vegas, look for titmice in places like Mt. Charleston and the Sheep Range.

Comments: Titmice are not common around Las Vegas.
