General
Description: Warbling Vireos (Vireo
gilvus) are
small, sexually monomorphic songbirds with big voices. They
are grayish above, light below with yellowish on the sides,
and have a bold, light eyebrow line. There are no wingbars.
Favored Habitat:
Places with broadleaf trees, Pinyon-Juniper
Woodlands, and the Yellowpine
Forest.

Where to Find:
During migration, Warbling Vireos can be found everywhere, but when you
look
for them, they are nowhere to be found; check Corn
Creek, the Henderson
BVP, urban parks (e.g., Lorenzi
and Sunset
parks),
and higher elevation places like Mt.
Charleston.
