The Stanley B Springs Trailhead is located up in the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area (also known as Mt. Charleston), about 45 minutes northwest of Las Vegas. From town, drive out to the Spring Mountains Visitor Center, then continue up Kyle Canyon Road for 2.9 miles, passing Rainbow Canyon Blvd and Ponderosa Pine Drive (paved streets to the left). At 0.16 miles past Ponderosa Pine Drive, stop at a deep paved pullout on the right (Table 1, Site 1936). Park here; this is the trailhead parking area.

Along Kyle Canyon Road, symbol signs translate to "No Parking;" but only during "December Thru March." It is okay to park here except during winter when parked vehicles interfere with snowplows.

This trailhead provides access to the Stanley B Springs Trail.
