Hiking Around Las Vegas, Spring Mountains (Mt. Charleston), Kyle Canyon
After running out the North Ridge, the North Loop Trail hits Devi's Thumb, a rocky spire. Beyond there, the trail traverses rocky cliffs on sometimes narrow ledges. Eventually, the trail passes the ledges and begins a long, switchbacking climb up the scree-covered east face to the summit.
