Developed campgrounds catering to RVs and trailers can be found in the town of Mesquite, but there are none in the nearby surrounding desert. Outside of Mesquite, there are no camping facilities of any kind, but primitive camping is legal along existing roads and trails on public lands. A number of traditional campsites are scattered around the area, six of which can be found along Lime Kiln Canyon Road, Cabin Canyon Road, and Elbow Canyon Road. All are accessible from Riverside Road (Highway 170) on the south side of the Virgin River. There is a fair bit of traffic between Mesquite and Scenic, AZ, so camping along Elbow Canyon Road could get pretty dusty. All sites are first-come first-served and suitable for RVs and trailers, but none are big enough from more than one party.
