View southwest from Highway 168. Access the trailhead by driving under the arch and down the graded road. Drive around the north and west sides of the house (to the right in this view) and down to the municipal well.

Along the graded road, stay to the right to avoid the house. Do not drive onto the red driveway.

Past the house, the access road leads to the municipal well. The BLM recommends parking by the chainlink fence and hiking from here. With a 4WD vehicle, you can drive around the right side (from this view) of the facility and continue to the bottom of the wash to connect with the old access road.
