Glossary -- Pour-Overs

Pour-overs, also called "dry falls" or "pour-offs," are waterfalls that usually are dry. A place in a wash or canyon where water, if it were flowing, would "pour over" a ledge to form a waterfall. Note that pour-overs always look higher and harder to climb from above.
