Plane Spotting Around the Jean Airport
Plane Spotting, Aircraft round Las Vegas

The Jean Airport, also known as the Jean Sport Aviation Center (FAA Identifier: 0L7), is located about 20 miles south of Las Vegas along Interstate-15. A grassy area on the north side of the terminal provides shaded plane spotting viewing (and BBQ pits by reservation), and public restrooms are located on the north side of the terminal. This small airport is fairly quiet, but at least there are no tall fences to block the view. I would go down to Jean just to watch planes, but it is a good little stop along the road south from Las Vegas.

This is a good little airport for fly-ins and ideal for recreational aviation such as aerobatic aircraft, gliders, ultralights, and skydiving.
