The El Dorado Dry Lake is located about 15 miles south of Las Vegas along Highway 95, a couple of miles south of Boulder City on the west side of the highway. There are several place to pull of the pavement and drive out onto the dry lake to get good places for plane spotting. Public restrooms are located "behind the bushes." The dry lake can be busy with ultralights, paragliders, model aircraft, and paintball worriers, or it can empty, but early weekend mornings are good times to find activity.

The "dry" lake isn't always dry, so be sure to stay off the mud when it is wet!
