The C-20 is a twin-engine, turbofan aircraft tasked to the airlift mission of transporting high-ranking government and Department of Defense officials around the world. The 89th Airlift Wing, Andrews Air Force Base, Md., operates five C-20Bs for worldwide special air missions. The 86th Airlift Wing, Ramstein Air Base, Germany, operates two C-20Hs for operational support airlift missions.

The C-20B and C-20H models differ in electrical systems, engines, and avionics packages; but in general, the C-20B is a military version of the commercial Gulfstream III, and the C-20H is a military version of the commercial Gulfstream IV.

This aircraft, Tail Code AMC, 60204 (Venus 24), was a visitor to Signature Airport (part of McCarran International Airport), Las Vegas during the fall of 2007. It is part of the 99th Airlift Squadron, which provides VIP transportation worldwide.
