This aircraft, with tail code D and tail number USAFE 00355, is attached to the100th Air Refueling Wing based at RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom. It was a visitor to Nellis AFB (Las Vegas, NV) during during Nellis Red Flag Exercises. The 100th Air Refueling Wing is the only permanent U.S. air refueling wing in the European theate and provides the air refueling "bridge" that allows the Expeditionary Air Force to deploy around the globe on a moment's notice.
