SH-60 Seahawks are twin-engine medium-lift helicopters designed for anti-submarine warfare, search and rescue, drug interdiction, anti-ship warfare, cargo lift, and special operations. The SH-60 is also capable of performing civil search and rescue, emergency medical evacuation, disaster relief, international aid, drug interdiction, and NASA space shuttle support. The Seahawk is a modified version of the Army Black Hawk helicopter, as it the Air Force Pave Hawk.
