Identification: F-15 Eagles have a long pointy nose from a cylindrical fuselage, rectangular air intakes on the side of the fuselage (opening is slanted), triangular wings that are almost straight across the back edge, splayed horizontal tail fins, and twin vertical tail fins.

Mission: The F-15 Eagle is an all-weather, maneuverable, tactical air-to-air fighter designed to permit the Air Force to gain and maintain air supremacy over the battlefield. The F-15E Strike Eagle is a dual-role fighter designed to perform air-to-air and air-to-ground missions.
