These two Bell HH-1H "Iroquois" helicopters were originally built for the USAF in 1970. They have since been transfered to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) Search and Rescue (SAR) Air Support team where the airships are used for rescue work in and around Las Vegas. LVMPD SAR is on call 24 hours a day to meet the needs of the community. It seems that most recent missions involve climbers at Red Rock Canyon NCA.
